The acting bug hit him at the young, and exciting age of 6 when he featured in Opa Williams's 'Tears for Love'

He had to go on a hiatus from acting due to constraints in blending the acting career with being a pupil, however when he was good enough to take on both tasks,he got back in business; In 2009 he surfaced back featuring in Teco Benson's 'The Fake Prophet' with Grace Amah and returned fully after his University studies in 2012 and he has since featured in several Movies and TV productions like: Sun Eje, MTV's Shuga Nigeria, The Johnsons, Last Flight to Abuja, Keeping it Real, Richy & Gold, Don't Conceive, and the recently premiered AFMAG movie of the dyslexic "David" titled "THE FATHER'S SON"

In December 2014, he won the award for BEST ACTOR at the In-Short International Short Film Festival Lagos for his role in Sun Eje.

Over lunch, i had the opportunity to ask some questions and here's what Samuel had to say.......

HOW WAS YOUR CHILDHOOD?

Growing up was amazing, I discovered stardom at childhood and I was pretty much well received by everyone , everywhere I went to. I was also very brilliant, played pianos, watched movies, got playful. It would be right to say my childhood is one that very young child would want.

IF YOU COULD GO BACK IN TIME WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY IN YOUR CHILDHOOD?

My biggest regret as a child was to stop acting when I had gotten to the peak of my career at such tender age. Before I was in primary 6 I was already known nationwide as a superstar but then it began to disturb school and I had to take along break which mad me hit rock bottom. A lot of people say if I never stopped acting, I would definitely be among the A-listers in the film industry by now and I totally agree with them.

DO YOU EVER FEEL LIKE THEY ARE TWO DIFFERENT SAMUELS IN YOU?

Honestly I feel like they are more than two Samuels in me. A lot of times, I question if I am a multi-personal, owing to the fact that I am an actor and get to play lots of different unrelated characters.

HOW MUCH HAVE YOU CHANGED?

Becoming a man requires a lot of changes, going into in an adult requires that I have changed in my perception towards life, the way I reason logically and also experiences have made me grow into becoming a better person. Even though a lot of people feel I didn’t change facially even from how I was as baby, i have changed a lot.

DO YOU WORRY IF PEOPLE LIKE YOU FOR THE REAL YOU OR BECAUSE YOU ARE POPULAR?
I have never been worried about peoples opinion about me, because its never been that their opinion puts the meals on the table. One week they love you, the next they hate you, but both weeks who got paid? you...

WHEN IN CHARACTER, HOW MUCH DO YOU DRAW FROM YOUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE TO THE CHARACTER YOU ARE PLAYING.

Never have i. Every character has its past experience and back story, if I infuse my personal experience, it kills the realism of the character. If I was born poor and I have to act totally rich, and I bring myself into it, I would not be able to totally express the wealth that the character requires.

In as much as the sun seems to shine all day long for our "spiff" he had this to round up our conversation and i was glad i didn't chock on my pepperoni..

ITS EASY TO THINK THAT CELEBRITIES HAVE IT ALL, WHAT DON’T YOU HAVE?

personally, I still don’t have an estate in America yet with bill gates as my next door neighbor.

the future seems bright for Samuel Ajibola, and he promises to bring on nothing but the absolute best, he hopes to do great things and it feels so good to know, we would be stalking him every step of the way till we all meet at he top.....

Samuel is fluent in English, Yoruba and our famous Nigerian pidgin, he's on social media platforms; Facebook via: https://www.facebook.com/sammieajibs Instagram: @sammieajibz but i doubt he's looking for girlfriends, fans will do.. LOL...
