THE MR RIGHT MINDSET: There is no such thing as perfect, tragically black women are inundated with images of Terrence Jenkins, John Dumelo, Idris Elba and the likes and they expect guys down the street to possess the same characteristics. They always dream of the tall, dark, and handsome nigga with pink lips and all that, so that when they meet Chuma or Tunde from down the street they are unhappy even though he is a really good guy. Here is a hint, write a list of 10 to 15 things you want in a guy, if you find a 

dude that possess 2 to 3 qualities in your top 10 you have found

your ideal match. Remember that you make out of a man what you 

want with what he contains. you cannot totally change a man.

 MISS INDEPENDENT: I know you want to do things yourself; I know you want to be in charge. You have a great job, you never looked to any man to give you anything you want and you make that clear on every date you go on. As much as men don’t want you to be a burden they also want a semi-traditional lady, they want to be involved in what you do. This also doesn’t mean they want a “Door mat”.If a woman rejects a man’s initial acts of generosity on a first date, he interprets it as a clear indication of feminism and he quickly becomes disinterested.

 PHOBIA OF THE BIG ‘’C’’:  Most guys are scared of being committed, they treat it as a plague. GIVING UP THE GOODIES TOO QUICKLY: Dating is a game with the ultimate prize being a committed relationship or marriage. If you give away too much too soon he will initially see you as exciting but at the long run get bored. Men love to be challenged a little. MY FRIEND, MY MUM, MY BROTHER SAID : critical decisions aren’t made without the approval of a certain group of people. A forward looking man will never settle down with a woman that thinks with someone else’s brain. Listening to peoples opinion is detrimental to marriages.
