IN AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH MR IDEAL NIGERIA 2012

Mr ideal Nigeria is his title, but this young, intelligent and handsome man is Mr. ABAYOMI ALVIN TOWASE . He is an actor, model, event host and a sociologist. Currently filming the new and hot sitcom “THE CALABASH” on AFMAG,has been featured in music videos such as Reekado banks "chop am" and more . HE has covered billboards and was cover of XPRESS AFRICA NOVEMBER 2014 EDITION. He has graced runways, and  the list still goes on.

AMA-NUEL:  Please describe yourself in three words so I don’t misjudge you when I choose mine.

ABAYOMI ALVIN: God-fearing, reserved and charismatic.

AMA-NUEL: Do you consider yourself a spiritual person?

ABAYOMI ALVIN: Well, we all spiritual beings. God created us in his likeness. If he is a spirit, that is we are spirits too. We just have this flesh covering our spirits being.

AMA-NUEL: Tell me, so far on your journey what has been the toughest thing for you to handle?

ABAYOMI ALVIN: Auditions. Having to wait long hours at auditions can be quite tiring some times. But thank God, I am moving pass that stage gradually now.

AMA-NUEL: Looking back, if you weren’t acting or modeling, what would you be?

ABAYOMI ALVIN:  A medical doctor I suppose.

AMA-NUEL: I hear you write too, how true is that?

ABAYOMI ALVIN: yea, very true. I do some writing as well. Two scripts are going to be shot and produced this year. So watch out.. ( laughs)

AMA-NUELS: ohh yes! I’m watching you. I see you as easily the cutest male on your current television series “ the calabash” and I’m sure ladies do too. Any funny passes? Proposers? Begging to apply? (laughs) from your fellow cast? Or outsiders? No need for names o! just yes or no. and some juicy stuff in between.

ABAYOMIN ALVIN: ( laughs) I don’t believe that o. so many good looking guys on the Calabash set. I am just like Peteru. No proposals, no funny passes, no body begging to apply. No juicy stuff.

AMA-NUEL: ha! Ok ok. My fellow sisters are aware. No competition.  Career wise or otherwise, where do you see yourself in 5 years?

ABAYOMI ALVIN: I see myself more matured, better, richer and being able to help people come up as well.

AMA-NUEL: Amen brother! (laughs) What’s more difficult to handle? The girls or the male competition?

ABAYOMIN ALVIN: I would say competition. A lot of good upcoming actors in Nigeria now so you just have to be extra special to break out of the upcoming zone.

AMA-NUEL: On a more relaxing mood, what’s your marketable quality generally?
ABAYOMI ALVIN:  well, my charisma.

AMA-NUEL: If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?
ABAYOMI ALVIN: Nigeria’s standard of living.  

AMA-NUEL: Food, mobile phones or your note pad, what is more difficult to live without?

ABAYOMI ALVIN: Foooooooooooooooooood! I love food. (big teeth)

AMA-NUEL: They say every man needs love in his life, what or who is the love in your life?

ABAYOMI ALVIN: Not telling

AMA-NUEL: this is sad. I was waiting for that. In a woman, tell me the three most important qualities before you order  the 18 carat diamond studded, gold plated ring?

ABAYOMI ALVIN: God fearing, supportive and beautiful.

AMA-NUEL:  Do you consider yourself a nice person?

ABAYOMI ALVIN:  I am nice.

AMA-NUEL: yes! My lunch is covered.
